The Wild Semester

Ignite Your Wild Side

The Wild Semester is a unique study away program offered by the Furman University Biology Department. Students spends 3 months in New Mexico and 3 weeks in South Africa studying biology, land ethics, survival skills and more . This program gives undergraduates the opportunity to gain valuable field skills that can be utilized in future jobs and internships. In addition students will learn what it is to live off grid becoming immersed in nature and learning how to be a good steward to this earth.
